Why I chose this video

The first video I will be analysing is a famous music video from the other side of the world. Keith Ape - It G Ma went viral in 2015 and made the top 5 in Korean charts. I chose this video because of its originality and interesting visuals.

Throughout the video we see young men in a hotel room dressed head to toe in expensive designer clothes rapping to their song. Bright vibrant colours are seen throughout the video which keeps the audience interested and forces anyone to not look away. It is influenced by the US rap scene, it is clear these artists had a lot of inspiration from the famous A$AP Mob.

I really like this video because it is so different to every other video as it stands out massively, this is personally one of my favourite music videos ever made.

French Montana - Unforgettable ft. Swag Lee

Why I chose this video

Another personal favourite of mine has to be French Montana - Unforgettable ft. Swag Lee. 
The Video was shot in Kampala, Uganda directed by French Montana and Spiff TV and includes Ugandan young dance group known as the Ghetto Kids or Triplets and the Video has over 114 million views on YouTube.

The video is very simple and minimalistic, it features a group of children dancing to a song looking very happy along with the artists of the song. It is not like most video's in todays time with flashy cars and drugs being glamourised. 

It stands out to me because It was something new, it was a breath of fresh air. It showed children living in poverty and being happy with nothing, they channel that through their dance moves and their energy. Them having no TVs and just learning how to dance, it just makes them have their own moves and their own swagger which what makes it so unique and special.
