Textual Analysis of Digipak

Front Cover - The front cover of the Digipak shows the artist walking along a lonely empty road. The title 'Recovery' with a red and white cross replacing the 'o' in the title, this symbol is linked to health at the time the artist was recovering from addiction and depression.

Spine & Back Cover B- The spine simply displays the title of the album and the artists name. The back cover shows the artist in Detroit which is his hometown along with the song titles displayed clearly underneath attached with the institutional information.

Internal Panels - Both internal panels show the artist trapped in a glass box which relates to his addiction and depression. Through this he connects with his fans by communicating his personal issues through his music. Furthermore he allows people to have different interpretations of his album through the use of the glass box.
